This is also one of my complaints. It’s good that the industry is getting new fans but most of them are just bandwagon fans. They’ll love all the popular tittles and will only love it as long as Hollywood gives it approval as soon as Hollywood moves on they will drop comics and move on to the next trend. It helps sell comics now but it the long run it will hurt the industry.

I really wish someone would take Nightcrawlers story a lot deeper than it is. The new more kid friendly nightcrawler is good for kids but I really think his story would suit well for a gritty more realistic telling. It’s rare that comics tackle religion at all. Nightcrawlers story would allow both sides of religion to be shown and dealing with his torment would allow for a unique story.
